I took this photograph of my alma mater i n the year 2015 during the release of A Levels examination results. I was there to support my cousin who obtained rank points 90 and was one of the school toppers that year. It was a proud occasion for our extended family.
Till this day since my graduation from AJC in 1999, I still wear the AJC PE tshirt proudly because I really loved my alma mater. Even though the old school is no more after merging with Serangoon JC, it gives me meaning following the old school's motto of Non Mihi Solumn, which translates approximately to "Not for Myself Alone". I am not a very altruistic person, yet on the other hand I'm also not a very selfish dickhead. It makes me happy seeing others happy, and it's not for my own selfish benefits.
I wish that this world be a better place, that's in the spirit of my AJC alma mater's motto.
