Singapore Buddhist Free Clinic
Sleepless again tonight. Still suffering from a cough which is keeping me awake.
On Boxing Day, I went to the Singapore Buddhist Free Clinic branch at Sembawang to see the TCM physician. Ever since I became self-employed and don't need MCs to take off, I have mostly been reliant on TCM each time I fall sick. The physician I just saw is a female who is a decade younger than me, even though she might seem young, she asked me good questions and I am grateful for her attentiveness to details.
Consultation at SBFC clinics are free, but we'd pay for the medicine that we take from their pharmacy. I like TCM, it's abit sadistic of me but I trust TCM because they're usually bitter. I believe that bitter medicine are good. I have taken two doses of the medication by now, and generally I feel good. The throat is still quite itchy, but I'd say that my condition is mostly under control by now.
In a nutshell, positive review for a Buddhist clinic that I have chosen to entrust myself to. Thank you Medicine Buddha for offering me affordable healthcare without me having to break a bank. I'm also happy to donate a few extra dollars to reciprocate the generosity offered to me by our local Buddhist community. Cheers.
